How well Does teeth whitening work?

The efficacy of whitening depends on many factors, ranging from the type of stain, through the condition of teeth, to patient compliance during and following treatment. Step2: Isolate and protect teeth and mouth Apply Ultradent to gingiva labially, buccally lingually and interproximally to protect soft tissue.

Step3: Prepare the teeth by first removing any excess Oraseal from the enamel surface and pumice each tooth to remove any residual sealant or stain. Rinse for 10 seconds.

Step4:For severely stained teeth, ethcing each tooth facially and lingually for 5 to 7 seconds using %35 phosphoric acid may enchance the permeability of whitening.

Step 5: Protect the patient and the dental team from the heat and light involved in whitening. Explain and emphasize to the patient that he must wear safety glsasses until you say they can be removed.
