A mechanical device that represents the temporomandibular joints and jaw members to which maxillary and mandibular casts may be attached to simulate jaw movement
The primary function of the articulators is to act as the patient in the absence of the patient
It is extremly useful instrument because, the instrument can be programmed with certain patient records that allow the operator and the dental laboratory technician to fabricate a restoration that will be physiologically and psychologically successful
